CSA and NRTL/C - CSA certification means that our products have been tested and certified safe for their intended applications, and the products meet specific mechanical and electrical construction standards. Combustible gas detection equipment must also undergo additional performance testing for certification.
Factory Mutual (FM) - Factory Mutual, an independent third party, tests all our fire detectors to FM Class 3260 Performance standards. Our fire detectors are certified as meeting specific requirements for safe operation and performance as regards to sensitivity and response time.
ATEX - ATEX is a European Union directive that requires equipment or protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres to comply with set standards. Net Safety's fire detectors and Millennium transmitters are certified as meeting these specific requirements for safe operation and performance. As a result, they can be sold anywhere in Europe without any further requirements being applied.
International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) - IEC is a worldwide international standards writing body. Most of Net Safety's products are certified to IEC standards alongside the applicable CSA and other North American standards.

Brazilian National Institute of Metrology, Standardization and Industrial Quality (INMETRO) - One of the primary duties of INMETRO is to coordinate the compulsory certification of products for use in hazardous locations. This is done though the accreditation of certification bodies and testing laboratories that meet the strict standards required by of INMETRO; TUV Rheinland of Brazil is one such certification body. Manufacturers, whose products and processes are assessed by an accredited certification body and are found to meet all of the applicable Brazilian national standards, are authorized to display the INMETRO certification mark.
