The food and beverage industry involves many processes that utilize flammable and toxic materials that could be detrimental to the health and safety of your equipment and personnel if left to accumulate. These include natural gas in process of baking, drying, and industrial steam generation, ammonia (NH3) in refrigeration units, and Chlorine (Cl2) as a bleaching agent and disinfectant.
Many industry processes also create hazardous by-products including CO2 in carbonation and fermentation, Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) and methane gas in wastewater treatment ponds, Nitrogen dioxide (NO2) in diesel powered vehicles, and Carbon monoxide (CO) in vehicle exhaust.
