NET SAFETY MONITORING COMPLETES INMETRO CERTIFICATION FOR GAS AND FLAME DETECTION PRODUCT LINES - 11.02.07
Net Safety Monitoring is excited to announce that it has successfully completed a series of INMETRO certifications through TUV Rheinland of Brazil. Included in this series of INMETRO certifications are our innovative Millennium and Millennium II Series Gas Detectors with a full line of toxic and combustible sensors available, as well as our premium line of explosion-proof UV ( Ultra violet ), UV/IR ( Ultra violet / Infrared ), and Triple IR Flame Detectors.
Net Safety Monitoring recognizes Brazil as a region experiencing rapid growth and tremendous opportunity. Obtaining the compulsory INMETRO certification for our products is key to expanding our presence there. We anticipate companies such as Petrobras and Braskem will be thrilled to work with a Canadian flame and gas detection manufacturer with a reputation and global presence like Net Safety's.
TUV Rheinland of Brazil is fully accredited by the Brazilian National Institute of Metrology, Standardization and Industrial Quality (INMETRO). One of the primary duties of INMETRO is to coordinate the compulsory certification of products for use in hazardous locations. This is done though the accreditation of certification bodies and testing laboratories that meet the strict standards required by of INMETRO; TUV Rheinland of Brazil is one such certification body. Manufacturers, whose products and processes are assessed by an accredited certification body and are found to meet all of the applicable Brazilian national standards, are authorized to display the INMETRO certification mark.
