Net Safety Monitoring Provides Stainless Steel Solutions - 09.17.06

Net Safety Monitoring Inc. is proud to announce its top selling Millennium series gas detectors and comprehensive line of flame detectors are now available in robust 316 stainless steel. These world-class detection technologies provide end-users with an unparalleled ability to detect toxic gases, combustible gases, and fires, preventing major crises that seriously affect personal and corporate integrity - along with the company's bottom line. Now, with the stainless steel option, NSM offers these rapid, reliable, and accurate solutions with enhanced durability for installation in harsh environments where exposure to extremely corrosive elements is unavoidable.

The Millennium Series Controller can be used with the following sensor types (all sensors are available in stainless steel):

Combustible Gas Detection (LEL) Catalytic Bead Technology
With its unique SensorGuard feature and matched pellistor design, this proven catalytic bead sensor is poison resistant, allowing it to be installed virtually anywhere.

Combustible Gas Detection (LEL) Infrared Beam Technology
This detector's digital infrared sensor employs an uncomplicated yet exceptionally effective optical design, which means there are no mirrors to be fogged, fouled, misaligned or cleaned and de-fogging heaters are unnecessary.

Toxic Gas Detection Electrochemical Technology
The family of digital electrochemical sensors include:
Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S), Hydrogen Fluoride (HF), Sulphur Dioxide (SO2), Oxygen (O2), Chlorine (Cl2), Carbon Monoxide (CO), Ammonia (NH3), and Vinyl Chloride (C2H3Cl)

The Net Safety family of flame detectors includes:

Single Ultraviolet (UV) Detector
This detector, which reacts to the UV radiation found in most fires, is mainly used for applications that require an extremely quick response time - namely ones that are indoors.

Smart UV/IR Detector
The UV/IR detector reacts to both UV and IR radiation, and alarms only when data from the two spectrums of radiation are recognized and confirmed.

Phoenix 3IR Detector
Armed with three optical IR sensors, the Phoenix virtually eliminates the costly occurrences of false alarms. It requires input from three IR wavelengths to be activated, and is fortified with Net Safety's unique Automatic Digital Zoom (ADZ) technology.
