Net Safety's Phoenix (multi-spectrum IR flame detector) Passes FM and ATEX Certification - 05.28.06
Net Safety Monitoring Inc. is proud to announce their Phoenix multi-spectrum IR flame detector has passed FM and ATEX certification. The certification reinforces Net Safety's relentless commitment to unsurpassed quality and reliability within the gas and flame monitoring industry.
Net Safety's Phoenix flame detector provides end-users with an unparalleled ability to detect hydrocarbon based fires, and consequently prevent major crises that seriously affect personal health, corporate reputation, and the company's bottom line.
CUTTING EDGE TECHNOLOGY
Armed with three optical IR sensors, the Phoenix all but eliminates the costly occurrences of false alarms. It requires input from three IR wavelengths to be activated, and is fortified with Net Safety's unique Automatic Digital Zoom (ADZ) technology. As a result, any data read and processed is the most precise and complete that detector technology can supply, providing unparalleled false alarm immunity over conventional single UV, IR, or UV/IR detectors.
STATE OF THE ART DESIGN
Protected in attractive, robust explosion-proof housing (Class 1, Division 1 certified), the Phoenix will continue to function in the most extreme industrial and weather conditions. Outfitted with multi-colored, high intensity LEDs, any fault or alarm activity status can be seen in situations with extremely limited light visibility. The absence of external reflectors seriously undermines corrosion issues, decreasing the amount of service required, saving time and money.
EASY INSTALLATION
The Phoenix was designed with installation concerns in mind. Its adjustable swivel mount, field of view, and detection range leads to simple, flexible installation and alignment on any site. Furthermore, it is immune to sunlight, lightning, and black body radiation.
FLEXIBLE CUSTOM INTEGRATION
The Phoenix compliments other flame detectors (including the Net Safety family of UV, UV/IR, and IR products) that can be used as enhanced layers of detection capability. Also, the Phoenix can be configured for analog, relay, or digital output for compatibility with the specific needs of any safety system, and can be adjusted for sensitivity and time delay, allowing customized responses to fire signals.
REDUCED COSTS
In addition to its competitive price and ability to maximize uptime, the Phoenix comes equipped with additional features that save time and money. An independent watchdog timer, which continually monitors the internal electronics, assures fail-safe error detection and continuous system diagnosis. In addition, automatic self-testing of the entire optical path ensures visual integrity, resulting in a considerably reduced maintenance costs.
Net Safety is thrilled to offer this superior and affordable multi-spectrum IR flame detector that is easy to operate and maintain. Indeed, with ATEX and FM certification, the Phoenix now delivers first-class security and performance that adheres to internationally recognized flame detector standards, and can be used anywhere the International Electric Code (IEC) is strictly imposed. It is just one of many top quality Net Safety instruments designed to alleviate the stress and costs associated with operating in high-risk industries.
