Millennium Low Power Gas Detector Released - 03.09.05
Net Safety Monitoring is proud to announce the Millennium Low Power Gas
Detector. Requiring as little as 32 mA, the Millennium was developed for installations with limited primary or secondary
power. The versatile Millennium can be paired with a Catalytic Bead, Infrared Combustible, or a full variety of Toxic gas
sensors for fast, accurate and continuous gas monitoring.
The Low Power Millennium is ideal for locations where even the smallest continuous load can be expensive to support on
DC uninterruptible power or solar UPS. It is available for either 12 or 24 V dc systems and manufactured with solid state
relays and a dimmable LED display. It also includes the ability to switch off the 4-20 mA output circuitry, further reducing
power to a level where power supply cost savings can offset all or most of the purchase price of the instrument.
The Low Power Millennium is enclosed in an explosion-proof housing and features a power disconnect switch to simplify
maintenance, a clearly visible scrolling LED display for calibration and configuration, and meter jacks for easy, on-line
current loop monitoring. The Millennium provides an internal push button and magnetic reed switch for both intrusive and
non-intrusive user control. The Millennium is CSA approved for Class 1, Division 1 hazardous locations.
Net Safety's Low Power Millennium Gas Detector is an incredibly cost effective solution for locations where continuous
and reliable gas detection is essential, but the available power supply is limited or costly.
