Millennium Series Gas Detectors Released - 02.28.05
Net Safety Monitoring announces the incomparable Millennium Series of Gas Detectors.
Based on state-of-the-art electrochemical, infrared, and catalytic bead sensor technology,
the Millennium Series provides a highly sensitive yet accurate and repeatable response to
a wide range of toxic and combustible gas types. In addition, it is extremely easy to
operate and maintain, and extraordinarily affordable.
Developed for continuous monitoring in extreme environments, the Millennium requires
little power and minimal calibration and maintenance. The compact and explosion-proof
housing features a power disconnect switch to simplify maintenance, a clearly visible
scrolling LED display for calibration and configuration and meter jacks for easy current
loop monitoring. The Millennium is designed with both an internal push button and external
magnetic switch for either intrusive or non-intrusive calibration and configuration.
The Millennium is designed for 12 or 24 VDC systems with Analog, Relay or Digital output
configurations as well as a Low Power option. Net Safety's Millennium Gas Detectors are
NEMA 4x and are certified to CSA, UL (Class 1, Division 1), and ATEX (Class 1, Zone 1)
standards, which means they can be installed indoors or out without modification.
The Millennium Series comes with an extensive choice of sensors, which include:
Combustible Gas Detection (LEL)
Catalytic Bead Technology
With its unique SensorGuard feature and matched pellistor design, this proven catalytic
bead sensor is poison resistant, allowing it to be installed virtually anywhere.
Combustible Gas Detection (LEL) Infrared
Beam Technology
This detector's digital infrared sensor employs an uncomplicated yet exceptionally
effective optical design, which means there are no mirrors to be fogged, fouled,
misaligned or cleaned and de-fogging heaters are unnecessary.
Toxic Gas Detection Electrochemical Technology
The family of digital electrochemical sensors include:
Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S), Hydrogen Fluoride (HF), Sulphur Dioxide (SO2), Oxygen (O2),
Chlorine (Cl2),
Carbon Monoxide (CO), Ammonia (NH3), and Vinyl Chloride (C2H3Cl)
