Solar Shield--Autonomous Solar Power System Released - 01.27.05
Net Safety Monitoring announces its line of leading edge autonomous solar power systems for
companies serious about saving energy, and reducing costs. The Solar Shield 1 is a single channel
system supporting Combustible or Toxic gas detection; the Solar Shield 2 is a dual channel system supporting a combination of Fire detectors and Combustible or Toxic gas detectors. Both systems provide a minimum of 14 days autonomy for locations without a conventional power source.
Solar Shield systems provide a superb choice of hazard detection and system controllers, as well as a custom engineered solar array and battery assembly. Net Safety custom designs a Solar Shield based on a site's specific energy demands and environmental conditions to ensure necessary power is always available.
Installation of the Solar Shield is made easy with the use of ultra-convenient quick connectors and plugable cables, as well as easy-to-configure outputs. Scrolling displays and status LEDs provide exceptionally straightforward set up, operation and maintenance instructions in the field.
Net Safety's Solar Shields can be installed indoors or out and are CSA approved and rated Class 1, Division 2 for hazardous locations.
The Solar Shield autonomous solar power system, paired with Net Safety's line of low power Fire and Gas detectors, proves an incredibly powerful, simple, and cost-effective solution for locations where connecting to a conventional power source is not practical or possible.
